About Athala

  • Close Panel

Athala is an elegant luxury catamaran whose crew will immediately make you feel at home. She has all the comforts and facilities of a large boat but retains the relaxed and intimate atmosphere of a smaller vessel.

There are just 8 cabins, 4 on the upper deck and 4 on the main deck, accommodating a total of 16 passengers. All are spacious and have ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and large portrait windows looking onto ocean views. The main deck cabins also have private balconies.

The indoor dining area and lounge, complete with TVs, DVD player, stereo and library, are situated on the main deck, while the bar is on the upper deck, which also has an open teak deck area for relaxing and enjoying al fresco meals. There is also a jacuzzi. The large sundeck doubles as a star gazing arena after dark.

Light snacks, tea and coffee is served between meals and bottled water and fizzy drinks are offered free of charge to passengers throughout the day.

Pricing guidelines for Galapagos Islands

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights to Quito or Guayaquil will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). You will also need internal flights from the mainland to the islands which cost about £275 to £350. A Galapagos National Park tax is payable on arrival - currently $100. A few yachts also offer shorter or longer cruises. Charter cruises are also available. Please ask for details.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
